We became involved in remote tower site monitoring when we developed a product to meet the needs of the Commonwealth of Kentucky for its state-wide mobile data communications system. We have equipped more than 150 sites with our remote tower site monitoring equipment. The Commonwealth’s Network Operation Center located in Frankfort, receives instantaneous notification when an alarm condition occurs at any of the remote tower sites. Upon receipt of an alarm, the network operations center notifies the agencies of the outage and dispatches technicians to the site.
